At the Battle of Gongsan in 927, he wore the clothes of the surrounded Wang Geon and fought in his place, and he was killed. Wang Geon built an altar called Sunjeoldan on the spot where Sin died, and he built Jimyosa Temple (Mirisa Temple). Sin Sung-gyeom is the founding ancestor of the Pyeongsan Sin clan. In 918 he helped found Goryeo by driving out Gungye and placing Wang Geon on the throne. The site is open 10:00–17:00, has no days off, and is free.
