Way to Hansilgol Valley is Course 2 of Daegu Olle Palgongsan, run by the Daegu Green Consumer Solidarity, and it is a walking trail that opened in July 2009.
The path continues to the right of the General Sin Sung-gyeom Historic Site, where Taejo Wang Geon of Goryeo and Gyeon Hwon fought the Battle of Gongsan. It passes Mandi Rest Area, a hilltop rest stop, and from the top at the end you can see the summit of Palgongsan Mountain in the distance. You can walk it at any time, and there is no fee.
