They are presumed to have been built around the 5th century by the local ruling power. Tombs 4–7 m high and 15–20 m in diameter have yielded gold and gilt-bronze ornaments, iron weapons, and patterned earthenware. The ridge slopes gently, so it is easy to climb with children, and you can look down on the Daegu cityscape beyond the ridge.
