How to get to Seongdangmot Pond
Because the site was said to be where a king would be born, the state stopped people from building houses there and made a pond. The area was once called Seongdaengi and Sangdaengi, and from the 1910s it became Seongdangmot, after the neighborhood name Seongdang-dong. A walking path called Duri-gil runs around the pond.
