The building burned during the Imjin War and only part of it remained, and it was rebuilt in 1614 (year 6 of Gwanghaegun). It measures 4 kan across the front and 2 kan along the side, and it is divided east and west into 2 kan of daecheong floor and 2 kan of rooms. The daecheong has a plaque with a Chinese poem written by Yun Dusu and a plaque from a Seonmugwan of the Ming dynasty. It is also called Ilsiru, and Yuksinsa Shrine and the Sayuksin Memorial Hall are nearby.
