Myogol Village is a clan village of the Suncheon Park clan on the east side of the Nakdonggang River, and descendants of Park Paeng-nyeon, one of the Six Martyred Ministers, still live in the village's hanok.
In 1456 (year 2 of King Sejo's reign), after the attempt to restore King Danjong failed, Park Paeng-nyeon's second daughter-in-law gave birth to a son here at her parents' home. She swapped him with a servant's daughter and raised him as 'Park Bi'. Later King Seongjong gave him the name Park Ilsan. Yuksinsa Shrine, Dalseong Taegojeong Pavilion, Dogokjae, and Dalseong Samgaheon House stand in the village. It is always open, and parking is available.
