It was made by damming a tributary of the Geumho River, and most of the loop trail, except the embankment path, runs through the forest. Palgongsan Olle Trail 6 passes along this loop trail. By the water are a campground, an open-air performance hall, a butterfly ecology garden, a butterfly ecology learning center, and sports facilities.
