Daegu Gomoryeong Monument is a song monument erected at Gomoryeong, the setting of the song 'Bi Naerineun Gomoryeong' (Gomoryeong in the Rain), which Bak Sichun composed and the singer Hyeon In sang in 1946.
The story behind the monument's construction is carved on its back. The name Gomo comes from an old tale about a mother who left home and looked back toward the house from the top of the pass. It is always open and free, and parking is available.
