It has a cement track 333 m long and 9 m wide and seating for 1,500, and the Daegu city cycling team uses it as a practice ground. It was renovated ahead of the 93rd National Sports Festival (2012) and received certification from the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. Cycling lessons for the general public are held in the outside plaza. It does not open at night because of athlete protection and safety.
