Around Chimsanjeong in the park, Seo Geo-jeong, a man of letters of the early Joseon period, wrote the Chinese poem 'Chimsanmanjo' after seeing the sunset over Chimsan. From the observation deck overlooking downtown Daegu you can see the night view, and the park also has an artificial waterfall, an outdoor stage, a water play area, and a barefoot walking trail. It is open at all times, with no admission or parking fee.
