Its name comes from a legend that a dragon trying to ascend to heaven fell and became the mountain. From the observation deck on Sangnibong Peak, which has a helipad, you can look down on the Geumho River, Apsan Mountain and downtown Daegu. A sunrise-viewing event is held every year.
