The worn outer walls were kept as they were, and the inside became a stage for young artists. The housing closed in 1996 and stood empty for a long time. In 2016 it was chosen for the cultural regeneration project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Since September 2018, the Daegu Contemporary Artists Association has run it under contract. There is no admission fee.
