During the Imjin War, he raised a righteous army in Uiryeong and fought the Japanese troops in a red silk military uniform. The general was born in Uiryeong, Gyeongnam, in 1552. After his righteous army activity, he declined the government posts offered to him, withdrew, and lived in Mangujeong Pavilion, which he built by the Nakdonggang River. The tomb is always open, and admission and parking are free.
