During the Japanese colonial period, it was a base of the Christian national movement, which carried out the March 1st Movement, the Mulsan Jangnyeo (Product Promotion) Movement, the Singanhoe movement, and more. It is also designated a Korean Christian historic site as a memorial site of Pastor Yi Man-jip's March 8 independence movement. It is closed every Monday.
