It stands on the grounds of the Duryu Water Purification Plant, which supplied tap water to Suseong-gu, Nam-gu, Jung-gu, and Dalseo-gu from 1969 to 2009. Some structures from the plant days remain as they were. It has wide green space and walking paths, a free water play area opens in summer, and the Kolon Open-Air Concert Hall is nearby.
