Dalseong Jogilbang Historic House is a thatched house built in 1784 by the Jo family of Haman on a steep mountain foot in Handeom Village, Jeongdae-ri, Gachang-myeon.
An ink inscription remains under the ridge purlin of the anchae, so the year of construction is known exactly. The anchae sits in the center, with the sarangchae and the arechae on either side in a U-shaped layout. Unusually for a thatched house, round pillars are used on the front of the anchae floor.
