The present tower was rebuilt at the foot of Daedeoksan Mountain in April 1971, with a tower body 30 m high and 9 m around. The first tower stood beside Suseongmot Pond in May 1958. In June 2017, a remodeling added stone memorial tablet enshrinement rooms on the left and right of the tower. It is open at all times, has no admission fee, and has parking.
