It served as a training ground for the monk soldiers led by Yujeong during the Imjin War, burned down, and was rebuilt in 1808. Its main building, Inbeopdang, has a 3-bay Buddha hall in the middle with rooms and a kitchen attached on both sides, so it serves as both a Buddha hall and monks' quarters. A room and a wooden-floored hall, one bay each, are added at the front left, which recalls the sarangchae of a private house. The temple is a 10-minute walk from Namjijangsa Temple, past a pine forest path where a tree burial forest lies. It is always open, and there is no admission fee.
