Seongjaeseodang Village School is a village school in Midae-dong that grew out of Seongjaejeong, built in 1627 by Chae Seon-gyeon (courtesy name Myeongbo, pen name Yangjeonheon) of the Incheon Chae clan.
Around 1770, his great-grandson Chae Sang-jeong rebuilt it, and in the early 1800s descendants re-roofed it and gave it its present name. Daegu Olle Course 5, "Way to Seongjaeseodang," passes here. It runs from the entrance of Guam Village through the Donghwacheon Stream bank, Mitasa Temple, and the Sammasan Mountain ridge trail to the entrance of Midae-dong. Parking is not available.
