How to get to Hyeonpung Hyanggyo Confucian School

Other maps

It was rebuilt after being burned in the Imjin War, and in 1758 (the 34th year of Yeongjo) it moved back to its old site from before the Imjin War and grew in size. It stands on a site leveled in 3 tiers, with Myeongnyundang Hall in front and Daeseongjeon Hall behind, in the jeonhak-humyo layout (school in front, shrine behind). Daeseongjeon is a Daegu Metropolitan City Cultural Heritage Material, and stones once used at a nearby temple were used for its base stones and foundation stones. It is always open and free to visit. The free youth character program requires scheduling by phone in advance.
