Gwanamsa Temple is a temple of the Taego Order of Korean Buddhism, set below Gatbawi (the Seated Stone Buddha of Gwanbong) and named Gwanam after that spot.
It was rebuilt in March 1962 on a site where only the foundation remained. The main hall (Daeungjeon) was newly built in 2006, and Gwaneumjeon and Chilseonggak in 2008. In 2010, Jijang Bodhisattva, Gwaneum Bodhisattva, and a hubul taenghwa (painting behind the main image) were enshrined. It is always open with no admission fee.
