Passenger transport at the station ended in 2008, and trains stopped running in September 2013. The cafe was built during the Ansim Changjo Valley development project of Daegu City and Dong-gu Office. It sells Americano, espresso, caffe latte, blueberry yogurt smoothie, and muffins and cookies made with lotus root. It is close to Ansim Yeonkkot Complex, and a 3 km walking path runs from Geumgang Station to Jeomsae Swamp. It is open 10:00–18:00 and closed on January 1, the days of Seollal and Chuseok, and days set by the store manager. Parking is available.
