How to get to Dongmujae
Ha Si-chan was born in Manchon-dong in 1750, turned down government office, and taught younger scholars in his hometown. The lodge originally stood beside the Gyeongbu Line railway in Hyomok-dong, Dong-gu. When a bypass road was built, it moved to its present site in April 1968. At that time, the Gyeongdeoksa Shrine and the Jangpangak Hall, which keeps the woodblocks of the Palyejeolyo and the Yeoram Munjip, were newly built. There is no admission fee, and you cannot park.
