It is the most well-preserved of the former Daegu Line station buildings, so it was designated a National Registered Cultural Heritage. In 2014 it was moved from Geomsa-dong to Dongchon Park and restored, and it is now used as the 'Dongchon Station Small Library'. It also displays iron artifacts actually used at Dongchon Station. It is open 09:00–18:00 (lunch break 11:30–12:30) and closed on weekends and public holidays.
