How do I choose a place to stay in Daegu by room count and cooking?

The 188 places to stay come from three sources, and only the 39 TourAPI lodgings have check-in, cooking and parking values

• The 39 places from the Korea Tourism Organization TourAPI lodging information have fields for room count, room type, check-in, check-out, in-room cooking and parking (some fields are empty at some places).
• All 39 have coordinates.
• The 129 places from the Daegu Metropolitan City Excellent Accommodation list (2025-12-29) have only the business name, address, phone and room count. They also have the counts of Korean-style, Western-style and twin-bed rooms and the business type on the list (58 general hotels and 71 lodging businesses). They have no check-in, cooking or parking fields.
• For coordinates, 128 of them appear on the map with coordinates from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety lodging business license data.
• Only 1 place, Haeritiji Hotel, has no coordinates.
• The 20 campgrounds from the Korea Tourism Organization GoCamping information give a number of sites instead of rooms. They have values for ancillary facilities, operating period, pets and booking method.
• So the check-in, cooking and parking counts in this guide are counted within the 39 TourAPI lodgings.
• When the other 149 places lack those values, it does not mean these are not possible. It means the list they came from has no such field.
• Ask the place for those values when you book.

Of the 167 places with a room count in rooms, 97 have 30–49 rooms, and 16 have fewer than 10

• The 167 places whose room count value is in rooms are 38 TourAPI lodgings plus 129 places from the Excellent Accommodation list.
• 62 have rooms in the 30s and 35 have rooms in the 40s.
• The 16 places with fewer than 10 rooms are all TourAPI lodgings: 6 in Jung-gu, 4 in Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu, 1 in Dohak-dong, Dong-gu, 1 in Sangyeok-dong, Buk-gu, 2 in Dalseong-gun and 2 in Gunwi-gun.
• All 16 are in the list below.
• 18 places have 11–29 rooms.
• The smallest is Jeibi Hanok Hotel in Sangmae-dong, Dong-gu (11 rooms, 11 Korean-style).
• Next come Got Seutei in Jimyo-dong, Dong-gu (15 rooms) and Aepeul Hotel Pension in Yongsu-dong, Dong-gu (18 rooms).
• The largest is Pikeunikeu Hotel in Dusan-dong, Suseong-gu (29 rooms).
• 31 places have 50–94 rooms.
• The larger ones are Hotel Raonjena in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu (94 rooms), Di TOP Hotel in Igok-dong, Dalseo-gu (92 rooms) and Biseulsan Youth Hostel Azalea in Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun (78 rooms).
• The 5 places with 129–325 rooms are Hotel Inteobulgo Daegu (325 rooms), Hotel Inteobulgo EXCO (283 rooms), Daegu Marriott Hotel (190 rooms), Daegu Grand Hotel (150 rooms) and Ondo Hotel on Yaoeeumakdang-ro, Dalseo-gu (129 rooms).
• Another Ondo Hotel with the same name, on Jungang-daero 81-gil in Jung-gu, is on the Excellent Accommodation list and has 24 rooms.
• The 4 places with no room count value are Queen Bell Hotel and 3 campgrounds.

6 places have the in-room cooking value 'available', and only 31 TourAPI lodgings have a cooking value

• The places whose in-room cooking value is 'available' are Miok Stay in Dongin-dong 4-ga (1 Western-style room) and Yeollim Stay on Palgongsan-ro 254-gil in Dohak-dong (detached house).
• In Daemyeong-dong, they are The house of Gallery (4 Korean-style rooms), Sarane Jip (1 Korean-style room) and Yuwon Guesthouse.
• The sixth is Chang & Yeong Pension on Hyuyangnim-gil in Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun (4 rooms in total).
• All of them have fewer than 10 rooms.
• 25 places have the value 'not available' or 'not possible'.
• Among the TourAPI lodgings, 8 places, including Daegu Marriott Hotel, Hotel Inteobulgo EXCO and Hotel Ariana, have an empty value.
• Of the 157 places with no cooking value, 149 came from the Excellent Accommodation list and GoCamping information, so they have no in-room cooking field at all.
• If you need to cook, ask the place when you book.
• Hotel de Foret has a 'Korean-style room with cooking' room type, but it has no in-room cooking value.
• Gonggam Hostel Dongseong-ro does not allow cooking in the room but has a shared kitchen and a laundry room as ancillary facilities.
• Dodong Yugyo Munhwagwan does not allow cooking in the room, and its food and beverage area has a ramyeon cooker, a microwave and a sink.
• Campgrounds have no cooking field.
• Some list a dishwashing sink (Doldam Camping Jang), barbecue tools (Deopamseutei) or a large barbecue area (Kaempeu (camp)301) in their facilities value.

• All 132 places on the Daegu Metropolitan City Excellent Accommodation list (2025-12-29) are on this site. Their place pages carry the mark Excellent Accommodation 'The Good Night' (designated by Daegu Metropolitan City).
• Of them, 129 came from this list, and 3 are TourAPI lodgings: 2 Wol Hotel The Signature Dongseong-ro Branch, Hotel Asia and Hotel Keurape Seongseo Branch.
• The 33 places also designated Women's Safe Accommodations are 10 in Dalseo-gu (9 of them in Hosan-dong and Horim-dong), 8 in Jung-gu, 5 in Buk-gu, 4 in Dong-gu and 3 in Suseong-gu.

• The larger ones are Iji Park Camping Jang in Uiheung-myeon, Gunwi-gun (35 sites), and, in Bugye-myeon, 80 SS Oto Camping Jang (31 sites) and Doldam Camping Jang (27 sites).
• Punggyeong Camping Jang in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun has 1 site.
• 7 have caravan sites, and 4 have glamping sites: Raundeuhil 905, Deopamseutei, 80 SS Oto Camping Jang and Teuripul (treefull).
